People often ask what is the trend for this year/next?
With weddings it’s about the colours and styles that are most popular in that time. These trends are generally set by suppliers, photo shoots and images seen online. They stem down from fashion trends and even interior design colours and styles.
The wedding industry has seen a variety of trends throughout the years. The soft romantic blushes and ivory are always around and very timeless, but this year and next we are seeing some new styles emerging.
I am seeing lots of changes with styles and colours this year and next. The pandemic has certainly affected the wedding industry and how couples are planning and what they are planning.
Small And Intimate
With numbers restricted and couples still wanting to get married and have their dream wedding, they are opting for small intimate gatherings. This is resulting to more being spent on the details and making their wedding elaborate and luxurious. Allowing them to splash out on the flowers, giving their guests beautiful favours to take home and having lovely stationery designed to create the initial wow into their wedding and much more. The creation and styling of smaller tables and spaces creates an intimate and personal atmosphere in venues or outdoor spaces that they may not have been able to use if their numbers were larger. Couples have more choice.
In the past years we have seen lots of silver and crystal at weddings giving a more modern feel. Now I am seeing the emergence of metallic colours. Metallics can easily be incorporated throughout your wedding with chairs, gold candelabra centrepieces and tableware. Adding a sumptuous and luxurious feel to your day. Your wedding stationery and guest favours can be adapted to any style and matched with gold ribbons and embellishments.
Outdoors With A Burst Of Colour
Small outdoor weddings are also becoming more popular, with more places offering this. An outdoor space is a blank canvas and can be styled however you like. I am seeing more couples opting for pops of colour mixed with traditional glamour.
